Bastion（Sheksna）反戰車飛彈系統是為了強化 T-55 與 T-62 戰車的作戰能力而設計，從戰車砲管發射導引飛彈，可擊毀戰車（包括裝有反應裝甲或處於車體隱蔽射擊位置者）、碉堡與掩體，也能攻擊低速、低空飛行的直升機。Basnya-2 反戰車飛彈以 9M117 導引飛彈為基礎，專為 BMP-3 步兵戰鬥車開發。
The Bastion (Sheksna) anti-tank guided missile systems were designed to enhance the combat capabilities of T-55 and T-62 tanks. The systems are capable to defeat tanks, including those with the reactive armour and in hull-down position, pillboxes and bunkers, as well as low-speed and low-flying helicopters by shooting the guided missile from a tank gun. The Basnya-2 anti-tank guided missile is based on the 9M117 guided missile and is developed for the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle.
