The purpose of the TZ-22 is to transport liquid fuel and refuel aircraft (both closed and open systems). Main operating modes:
- filling its own fuel tank using a pump unit;
- agitating aviation fuel inside the tank;
- refueling aircraft from an external tanker;
- transferring aviation fuel to external tanks without using the unit’s own tank;
- pumping fuel out of dispensing hoses;
- draining the tank’s contents by gravity.
