English original（DCS
A family of high-explosive free-fall bombs of various calibers (Mk-81/82/83/84).
Mk-83 is a LDGP (Low-Drag General Purpose) universal free-fall bomb. With reduced aerodynamic resistance. It is widely used by the Navy and the Marine Corps, as there are restrictions on the use of Mk-84 when taking off from aircraft carriers.
