BGM-71E TOW-2A 是 TOW-2 的改型，設計用於摧毀配有爆炸反應裝甲（ERA）的裝甲車輛。它配備串聯式成型裝藥（HEAT）彈頭，在飛彈的伸縮式探針上有一個小型前置裝藥，用來引爆目標的動態防護元件。

The BGM-71E TOW-2A is a modification of the TOW-2. It is designed to destroy armored vehicles equipped with explosive reactive armor (ERA). It features a tandem HEAT warhead with a small charge advanced on a telescopic tip of the missile, which initiates the dynamic protection element of the target.
It was operated by many countries. It could be used from AH-1, Lynx helicopters along with mobile launchers of various armored and non-armored vehicles such as M1046 HMMWV, IFV Bradley.
