AGM-65D 是 AGM-65A 的衍生型，將後者的電視導引段換成 WGU-10/B 成像紅外線（IIR）導引頭（GBU-15(V)2/B 滑翔炸彈與 AGM-84E SLAM 也使用相同的導引頭）。
The AGM-65D is a derivative of the AGM-65A and replaces the latter's TV guidance section with a WGU-10/B imaging infrared (IIR) seeker (the same seeker is also used in the GBU-15(V)2/B glide bomb and the AGM-84E SLAM).
